She's one smart cookie. She has never settled for less in a relationship. She has these "guy-like" instincts when a relationship has seen its best days... and always understood perfectly when what she deserved wasn't entirely what she was getting out of the deal. She was good at smelling the fish before they rotted, so to speak.
Until she met Bradley.... and well - the boy just smells like roses. He adores her. She adores him. Finally, my girl Jenna met the man of her dreams and HE DELIVERED. Their worlds - both officially, rocked.
The two of them laugh and play together more than any other couple I've seen in a loooong long time. Their friendship with one another is inspiring. Their no-holds-barred approach to getting engaged and married was so exciting to be a part of. The attitude at every turn of the planning was always an anticipatory, "LET'S DO THIS THING!!!"
Not to mention, come wedding day - never before have I seen a more flawless couple. Jenna was so serene and calm all day. Bradley was his relaxed and playful self. And when they met for their first look - the world and all of us in it - washed away and it was just them. I could feel it. Their mutual tunnel vision came into focus in the exact moment they laid eyes on eachother in that beautiful meadow. And it seemed to stay that way, at least in part, the remainder of the day.
That "One And Only" feeling remains still. They joined Clark and I for dinner a couple weeks ago - and their newlywed light still shines brightly. It's infectious.
What an incredible circle I was blessed to be part of - what an incredible day they put on. Jenna and B - I'm more grateful to you than words can say for your trust in me. Thank you for letting me tell your story in images. Thank you for your friendship, your selflessness, your generous hearts and your humor. Clark and the kids and I love you both so so much!
