The Biz

Welcome

  • To my little corner of the internet. I'm a lifestyle photographer and I call Maryland's Eastern Shore my home. It's Chesapeake Bay country out here and it's just lovely. Full of inspiration. I have a husband I call "Clark Kent" because he's my own personal superhero. And... he looks awesome in plaid flannel. Hot dang. I have two little boogers who keep me on my toes and a yellow four legged child that always keeps me company. I love scrapbooking, curling up to a good movie, and dark chocolate M&M's. Thanks for stopping by... I "heart" your comments.

Miss Katie~ You never cease to amaze me with your creativity. I don't know where you come up with these ideas and how in the world do you manage to make everyone of them look so darned fantastic. I can't wait for the day you, like many of the wonderful bloggers you have turned me on to, start offering classes of your own. I love Ali Edwards, but she ain't got nothing on you. You inspire me to be creative and for that I thank you! I'm am proud & honored to know you. (Side note: what kind of online class would you recommend for beginner photographers to get the basics of working with dslr?) Have a wonderful day! luv ya~ Nikki

    Hey Nikki!
One of the first classes I took was a free one from Two Peas In A Bucket called 12 weeks to better Photography... Not sure if they offer it anymore - but you should definitely check on that. Also, I have taken nearly all the classes offered by Elisha Snow over At Big Picture. Theres a link to their website on my left sidebar under Learn Something. I would recommend any of those! And thanks for your sweet words. Im waaaaayyy behind Ali in terms of creative juices!!! She is amazing!!!
