It ocurred to me yesterday that I've not yet shared with you the cover of the album I'm making for "the deuce."
And so today.... I shall.
I used an American Crafts 8x8 three ring album with a chocolate spine. It comes with a plain chipboard cover and I left it that way until I knew what we were having. Once I knew "it" was, in fact a "her" I chose some patterned papers and embellishments and went to town. These papers are SEI from the Mimosa Collection...
In the kit were some journaling stickers that I converted into a little label for the outside cover. The giraffe print ribbon is from Michaels.
An office supply tag and generic binder clip both from Staples with a number sticker from the Mimosa Kit as well and some ribbon, from Michaels or Jo-Ann's, I think.
I like to use Elmers Spray Adhesive to paste the paper to the album. Then I trim it with a craft knife and use a sanding block to get the fine bits down to the edge. Works like a charm.
I used different patterned papers for the front and back covers but kept the insides the same...
Here's the back...
And one more of the spine...
very chic ; ) love it!
