You know what they say... they must come to an end.
Yesterday, after making several attempts to mail a large package (Did you know it's practically impossible to mail something via FedEx Ground using a recipient's account number these days? - Neither did I.)... I finally whisked my van to my local post office... hauled the thing inside and in a matter of minutes, signed it over to be mailed clear across the country.
It wasn't until I returned to my car that I realized I just put the final nail in my proverbial coffin that is was my jewelry business.
I had just mailed the entire contents of my "stash o' inventory" to a wonderful lady who is celebrating Christmas early this year... and exploring the handmade side of the jewelry industry for herself. Good luck Stephanie! Hope you love the goodies!
And just like that... 9 years of jewelry came to an end.
And even though the finality kinda hit me there in that moment... I wasn't sad.
I was hopeful. And grateful. And ready for the next thing.
I got a lot of stuff I'm trying to chase down. :)

Hey kids. Hope ya had a nice weekend. Mine was gooooood.
Photographed the ribbon cutting / grand opening of Jenna's new salon. A super sweet guy (boyfriend of one of the stylists) waited until the place cleared out and then popped the question in front of her close friends. It was a neat moment. I'm glad I was there with camera in hand.
Other than that... it was pretty low key. Made dinner on Sunday and took it down to my Uncle's house. He and my all-male cousins and Grandpa are bacheloring-it for the next 10 days while my Aunt visits her oldest son, currently stationed in Pearl Harbor.... Can you blame her? Well, I knew they'd be eating nothing but Cheetos and Raisin Bran... and maybe some Chinese take out... so I did a little Italiano for them.

My girl turned two months old yesterday...
Here are some quick facts ::
She is one smiley little chick.
So much more alert... her personality starting to take shape.
