thanks for your yummy post!!! i do love my vitamix too, but i lately i can hear it crying on my counter because it has been feeling neglected...i need a new something to try!! where did you get all your magic powders you put in it?

    Jacalyn

Do you drink one / day? and did you get most of the powders, etc at railway mkt? Love your blogs (and I was a little distracted in the clean up video by those beautiful babies in the back haha!! ) I have been considering purchasing one. I make smoothies for my kids and often add whey protein, almond milk or soy milk. But looking for more healthy options

WOO HOO! Link is working! Sorry about that guys!

Heres where I purchased the following ::
Whey Protein - local health market (this is available pretty much anywhere - GNC, Whole Foods, etc.
Crystallized Ginger - local health market
Spirulina Algae Powder - Whole Foods
Wheat Grass Powder - Whole Foods
Flax Oil - Whole Foods... but this is widely available too. Must refrigerate!
Coconut Water - I order the Zico minis by the case via Amazon - but have also purchased large ones at Whole Foods!
    :)

Hey Jacalyn! I cant recommend the Vitamix enough to people. Especially ones with kids. My Macho wont even TOUCH a vegetable - but hell drink smoothies with carrots and other things I sneak in there till the cows come home! Its a saving grace for so many reasons!

I purchased the Spirulina Algae Powder at Whole Foods, but most of the other items Ive purchased locally. The Whey Protein, Crystallized Ginger, Flax Oil and Wheat Grass I get from the lady inside the Amish Market... though Im sure you could find things at Railway too. The coconut water I order online through Amazon and get it auto-shipped so I save like 15% through their subscription program!

If you decide to take the plunge - use the offer code - it will pay your shipping. And you can get a refurbished model (thats what I have) - they were just used in product demos or returned before the 30 day money back guarantee. You will get a NEW canister, tamper, lid and blade if you order a refurbished one.
    :)
