Ok party people.
Since I actually haven't sat down to write since last Wednesday (had the last 4 posts scheduled out in advance) I feel as though I'm dusting of the keys a bit here.
Scheduling those layouts to post in advance turned out to be a very good thing because, apart from Clark and the dog, the rest of us have been so ridiculously wrecked with nasty colds... there really wasn't much more I could handle besides passing the Kleenex.
Anyway - I'm feeling a bit better - and frankly, missing my keyboard, so I figured the best way to get myself caught up is to put together a little list of things that I've been doing/seeing/thinking/inspired by the last little while.

WISHING - for this Smallville DVD set. Totally snapped this at Target and texted it to Clark. Yes - I'm a freak for this like I am a freak for Twilight. However - as you can see - WHOA pricetag - it's essspensive - so I'm gonna have to wait a few years until it comes down on Amazon for el-cheapo. It's all good... I can wait.
CRUSHING - on this hair by Christina Perri. In the words of the great Kit Deluca... Ya gotta have a goal, right?
I totally wanna rock it. Skunk stripe and all. I'm thinking light years ahead, of course...my fringe is just hitting the middle of my ear at the moment. Goal... Goal... Goal...
CRAVING -
Deviled eggs, with a side of pickles. Yes, I most definitely ate all of this in one sitting - and NO - I'm not preggers.
MILDLY ADDICTED - to Pinterest. Having less formal "work" since Thanksgiving - has afforded me a little more time to browse and pin...
Here are a few of my faves from the last few days...
WONDERING - If I could somehow tent the entire house and set off some sort of medicinal A-bomb on it - like one would for treating termites. I bet I could Google it. :)
THINKING - About having a small cocktail party at our house with a few of our "couple friends"... Wish we could have everyone at once - but our house is a little small for that... I wanna do it sometime in January maybe - an excuse beat those wintertime blues.
PLANNING - to remodel our master bathroom (finally!). Remember where Clark left me this little present?
Demo is set to begin over the Christmas / New Years holiday. My contractor? You guessed it - the one and only C.Kent. This should be interesting since I haven't the faintest idea what I wanna do in there yet. Better spend some time searching "bathrooms" on Pinterest. Yippee!
I'm thinking all that mess and transformation will be good for blog content too.
ATTEMPTING - To do lots of fun crafty projects with Macho for the Christmas countdown this year. We've made dotted paper garlands, jingle bells out of painted cardboard egg cartons, and glittered ornaments. Again - I thank you, dear sweet baby internet.
LOATHING - the fact that not only am I not done Christmas shopping yet - but I have yet to wrap a single gift.

HOPING - for a few 26-28 hour days... I need some catchup time from this cold!

Hiarious video...I have some pretty funny stories about how the sex talk went with both our children who are now 12 and 17.....the 17 year old got the talk when he was 10; the 12 year old when she was 8; I am very thankful we did not do the wikipedi route. <3
