Taking a quick break from editing to talk about holiday cards. I'm in full swing for holiday portrait season and it’s time to start thinking about the cards you’ll be sending out. If you’re like me, you LOVE paper products, great design, and love the Christmas season. Along comes card-giving time and the possibilities seem endless. High quality, low quality, cheap, expensive, traditional, modern, whimsical and on and on. You need to find a way to get through the holiday card process without getting overwhelmed with details but without sacrificing fresh, gorgeous design, and quality printing. You need to get it done, get them in the mail and move on already! That's where Minted. comes in!
I have been recommending Minted to my clients and friends for the past few years... and advertised their website, here on the blog for a year or so now... but this will be my 1st year of exclusively working with them for business. I’ve done a fair amount of printing through them and feel great about recommending them both as a visual artist and as a consumer. Gorgeous designs with wonderful custom options — you can add patterned envelope liners and skinny wrap address labels - very chic. They offer impressive customer service and the very BEST paper and print quality. My standards are high and they pass the test every time. So far, every person who has placed an order through Minted has come back to me saying how much they love their final product.
How it works: if you’re a Katie Pegher Photography client or friend, go through my storefront and select a card design (it can be one from my storefront or you can venture into the entire Minted collection, your choice). Place your order, then get in touch with me about which photo you’d like to be used in the card. Then I go into your order and upload the photo. That’s it. Then Minted will send you a proof of the design and your work is done! Well, aside from getting your address list together. You’re on your own with that!
If you are a client who has purchased a CD from me - I would encourage you to view my storefront anyway to see my selection of favorite designs from Minted. You can then upload your chosen photo from the CD and be done likety-split! :)
