We hit it off on phone call No. 1. A referral from a prior client, Charity called about maternity and newborn photos. She and her man Casey were expecting their first little blessing the second week of September. Charity was so bubbly and vivacious on the phone - I was instantly pulled into her positive orbit. The excitement of her tone like a gravitational force. I knew we were gonna be a great team.
Even though she and Casey live a good hour and a half from me - they agreed to come to the shore for their maternity session. I chose an old cemetary ruin affectionately known as the "Hole In the Wall" as our location. The sun was in it's last golden hour, the August heat was burning off of the long summer day, and Charity and Casey were utterly lost in the moment. Enjoying this beautiful time together as parents-to be.
Here are some of my favorites.
Enjoy.
Stay tuned... for the "after" the bump.
Sweet Baby J's photos are coming to the blog next week.
Have a great, safe Halloween everyone!

Lol! No Heidi - the butterfly was a little prop that I bought at a craft store and used a little glue dot to hold it in place. I had this image in mind of a butterfly landing on her tummy in the soft evening glow of summer. Im not that lucky to have it happen naturally. ;)
