Guilty as charged...
I moonlight as an amateur graphic designer.
Actually - that's way too fancy a title.
How about this... I get hired to play with Photoshop and create ads and various marketing pieces with the photos I take for my clients.
That's more like it.
My current employer is this uber chic clothing botique called Gracie...
Here are a few shots I took of the outside of the store a couple weeks ago...
Cute, right?
Wellll.... it's even cuter on the inside. Not to mention, the clothing and accessories they sell are so so fab...
I'm a lucky girl just to be involved... what can I say.
Anyway - here's what I do... I get to dream up photo shoots with the owner (hi Diane!!!) and go out and take photos like this...
Which I then use Photoshop trickery to create ads for magazines and newspapers that look like this...
photos like this...
become this two sided mailer celebrating the shop's 1 year birthday!
these...
become this back to school ad...
images like this...
make this...
and this...
Anyway... it really is a marvelous job.
Just thought I'd share some of the things I've been up to!
Oooh!
And one more thing - check out Gracie on Facebook!
Give em the ol' thumbs up for moi!
xoxo
