I love all the crusty stuff all over his mouth...He eats like such a big boy, not nearly as much cleanup as even a few months ago... Still - I love this detail of childhood. Who cares? I have food on my face!!! Woo-hoo!!!

I love that he has a lone freckle on his left cheek... LOVE that little beauty mark. When it first appeared - I definitely thought it was either dirt or chocolate and tried to clean it off of him.

I love that floppy surfer dude hair he has going right now. It's ultra soft and totally blonde blonde blonde. I figure - that hair won't last forever - and as much as I loved his buzz cut last summer - this time we're going for a different look. Especially since he really has no opinion on how it looks yet - I get to call the shots.

I love that he still has baby skin... except on his legs... Geez - they look like he hiked through a rocky mountain forest... Covered in little black and blue marks and cuts and scrapes... All part of being a 2 year old boy, I guess.

I love that when I pick him up from his twice weekly school gig... he tells me how proud he is of ME that he goes to school...

Even though I know he's just got his pronouns confused - he's right - I miss him when he's there.

I love that now when I try to take his picture - he'll actually stop and look at me (once in awhile) and then chirp "Now I see it!" as I turn the camera around to show him. Model in training, I say.

He is getting to be such a big boy now! Even from when we were there visiting! I LOVE the hair... don't change it!
