The Biz

Welcome

  • To my little corner of the internet. I'm a lifestyle photographer and I call Maryland's Eastern Shore my home. It's Chesapeake Bay country out here and it's just lovely. Full of inspiration. I have a husband I call "Clark Kent" because he's my own personal superhero. And... he looks awesome in plaid flannel. Hot dang. I have two little boogers who keep me on my toes and a yellow four legged child that always keeps me company. I love scrapbooking, curling up to a good movie, and dark chocolate M&M's. Thanks for stopping by... I "heart" your comments.

I have very few photos of me with my mom. Thanks for starting such a meaningful tradition. Wouldn't you know it, birthdays coming at the end of the month here!

I have VOWED to do this for my kids!! My girlfrirend's mother did this for her as often as she could... sometimes she would write down funny things she said growing up, days when she misbehaved but it made her mom laugh or days when they had shared a wonderful moment and then at the end of each year on her birthday her mom would write her a letter detailing all this special days and what the whole year was like. What she loved, things that she had accomplished and was proud of, things that her mom saw that she may not have noticed in ways that she grew and changed etc....
Well... her mom passed away before she graduated college and I know it meant and still means the world to her to have those letters from her mom!

i love it. i was so much better about this 11 years ago...my oldest came upon a notebook of letters i wrote about her and cried at some of the things i wrote. i think it made her see me as a different person, and understand that i do the things i do for a reason...not to be mean. i need to get on that again...fast.

I love it!! You inspired me to do something like this for my little guy (turns 2 in December). So personal and darn cute too. I was happy that I was able to keep a journal on my computer during my entire pregnancy with him and had it printed and bound for us to look at together someday when he's older. His own little (extended) birth story!! Better not let it stop there!!

All 3 parts are a diappointment...I have read all 5 books of stephenie Meyer and the magic that she creates in her books no where gets reflected in the movie... nd bella with no emotions or expressions looks like a wax doll... i seriously hope.. .the "The Breaking Dawn" does not disappoint us the same way. The only worth part watching in this movie was the last fight between wolves and vampires otherwise the whole movie is a bore.
